The five checkpoints on an Oopbuy order
Before top-up, before confirming, at stock-in, before the parcel, at the border. Each one has an action that is cheap right then and expensive or gone afterwards. Below them, the lookup that tells you which number to plan around and where to verify it.
How the pieces fit
How Oopbuy and the catalogue fit together
The catalogue is where you find a listing and copy its link. Oopbuy is where you paste it, pay for the item and its domestic courier, wait for stock-in and the three photos, then combine items into a parcel, choose a line, pay an estimate, and pay the actual after packing. The operator's tutorial walks that in eleven steps; four of the checkpoints below sit on it, and the first one comes before it starts.
Each checkpoint names its action, the number it protects, and the field where your own account confirms it. The numbers come from the lookup; the lookup comes from the operator's pages, read on 10 October 2026.

The lookup
Planning-number lookup
Pick a question. The ledger shows every official statement about it, ranked by the kind of source (order screen, live estimator, registration agreement, dated help article) and by the date the page was created, with the binding one marked and the strictest live figure pinned at the top.
Dates are decoded from the operator's own article identifiers and shown as creation dates. Nothing is sent anywhere; the rules travel with the page and are printed in full underneath for anyone without JavaScript.
Derived from the operator's own statements, read 10 October 2026. Precedence: order screen, then the live estimator, then the registration agreement, then dated help articles. The plan-around figure is the strictest live number. Dates are decoded from the article ids and are approximate creation dates.

Before top-up: choose the rail, know the one-way door
Money enters the wallet through PayPal at 4.5 percent plus thirty cents, converted to US dollars whatever your card's currency; through Wise in five currencies with bank fees only; through a bank transfer at 0.1 percent plus a fixed fee, never in RMB from abroad; or through Klarna at checkout where offered. The rail you pick is the first number on the order.
It is also the first commitment. Cancellations and returns are refunded to the wallet balance, not to the card. A withdrawal is its own request with its own review. Top up what the order needs, and no more, until you have seen one order through.

Before confirming: read the fee line, fix the variant, mind the 72 hours
The confirmation page is the only place the service-fee question is settled for your order. The fee page says none; the agreement you accepted says eight percent of goods and eight percent of shipping; the estimator payload says zero on every line. Read the lines above the total before you pay, and plan on the eight until you have.
Fix the variant here. After the seller ships, a change is a return plus a new order at your cost. Put anything the buyer must know in the remark field. Then pay within 72 hours, or the order lapses; card payments may sit in review for a day and ask for documents.

At stock-in: buy the evidence, start the two calendars
Stock-in starts two clocks the operator will not run for you. Ninety days of free storage, counted from the received status, then disposal with one reminder email at most. And 120 hours to return to the seller, counted from the next hour after Stocked in, after which the button goes.
It is also the cheapest moment for evidence. A detail photo costs one yuan and can carry a tape measure, and custom measurements are on request. Both are bought here, against a stored item. The five-yuan parcel photo and the twenty-yuan rehearsal pack belong to checkpoint four instead: they need a submitted parcel to photograph or weigh. The free inspection has already checked quantity, colour, size and model against the label and taken three photos; what it excludes is the whole reason these add-ons exist.

Before the parcel: run the estimator with real numbers
Run the estimator with the real weight and the box dimensions, not the item weight. Chargeable weight is the greater of actual weight and the box measurement, and both the divisor and the rounding step belong to the line rather than to the country: the cheapest US line divides by 8000 and rounds up to the next fifty grams, others divide by 5000 or 6000 and round in steps up to a whole kilogram, and View Details prints which. Some freight lines carry minimum billing weights of 1.5, 22 or 27 kilograms; a three-kilogram parcel on a 27-kilogram line is billed as 27.
Read the line's own details: day range, delivery-success rate, size cap, the clearance row. Then accept that what you pay now is an estimate; the actual is charged after packing and the difference is settled either way. Parcels over ten kilograms, or many of one item, are the operator's own warning sign for being judged commercial at customs.

Before and at the border: declare, then open the box with the courier
Declaration is yours: itemised, or a single total the system spreads across the items. The operator publishes three examples of declarations it calls unreasonable: three pairs of shoes at one dollar, a ten-kilogram ring, a thousand dollars declared on two hundred of goods. The UK and the EU charge VAT from the first penny; customs risk, returns and destruction costs are the recipient's.
At delivery, inspect in front of the courier if you can. If not, keep the box and the tape and report with photos and the invoice within two working days for a carrier claim, and within 72 hours for anything else; after a normal signature the operator takes no responsibility. Fragile goods are loss-only: damage in transit is yours whatever packing you bought.

Before the money moves
What to settle before paying, not after
- Whether the listing is customised, cut to length, second-hand or sealed: each puts it outside the no-reason return before you order.
- Whether it is a replica of a brand: the operator's rule is destruction without refund, and the inspection checks appearance, never authenticity.
- Whether it contains a liquid over 150 ml, a battery, a blade or a magnet: refused outright, or limited to a few expensive lines.
- Whether you will want a measurement: ask for the one-yuan photo at order time, not after the window.
- Whether the parcel will be light and bulky: vacuum packing is a decision at checkpoint four, not a regret at checkpoint five.
